Phelonius Friar Computer Magic sprang fully formed from the mind and talent of Danz with this, her first, EP. Her innate feel for textures and audioscapes at this early stage of her career is unusual, and an absolutely welcome breath of fresh air. While some riffs are reminiscent of other artists (e.g. Men Without Hats), they are fleeting and Danz quickly takes it in her own magical direction. Favorite track: Hiding From Our Time.

I'm very particular about electronic music. But Danielle Johnson aka Danz CM / Computer Magic reigns supreme in my heart. This album hits all the right spots. "Fast Cars", "Cafeteria Blues", "Schnelle Autos" are blissful. "Little Trees" sweetens all gloom! Love this and her Computer Magic "Scientific Experience" CD. Gorgeous, upbeat, positive, delightful. Top notch techno ne plus ultra! str8sounds
